July: The SHORTS project on tour in Northern New South Wales for Reality Construction Co. Performance in Armidale, Kendall, Laureton, Port Macquarie, Wauchope, Macksville, Coffs Harbour, Lismore, Binna Burra, Mullumbimbi, Nimbin, Brunswick Heads, Midbil, Woodburn, Stokers Siding, Byron Bay and Broken Head (32). PERFORMANCES BANNED. Subsequent media extends to adult performances; cancellation of bookings and increased media interest follow. Brisbane tertiary performances of the SHORTS project (4)
August: Waurn Ponds, Warrnambool and Geelong tertiary perormances (4). Melbourne tertiary and adult performance of the SHORTS project (8) Rehearsal final work concludes. Cast reduced by one to three. Preparation of double show for Sydn81 and Darwin bookings. Office and rehearsal room vacated and home base in Melbourne closed.
